Spotlight on Tho

In addition to serving as LVSC’s Board treasurer, Tho is the founder and chair of LVSC’s Golf Fore Literacy event.

LVSC Journey: I joined the Board to give back to the community and to help others in the same way that organizations similar to LVSC helped my parents when we came to this country.

Proudest LVSC Moment: When my wife, Jessica, won Outstanding Service Award.

Day Job: Head of Pricing which is essentially Chief Pricing Actuary of Munich Re America. I’ve been working at Munich Re America for 21 years and manage a great team.

Passions: Golf, Eagles football, eating yummy food.

Favorite Food: Eggs because they can be made in so many different ways and taste great in each way.

Favorite Quote: Oh, so many. Let’s go with Vince Lombardi, “Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.” Also like, “Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.” Also Vince Lombardi.

R&R Spot: On a golf course or driving range. I also enjoy vacationing in a house in the mountains with a great view.
