Spotlight on Phil

Meet Phil Armenio, LVSC's Board president from 2018-2023. Phil has been an LVSC volunteer for more than 10 years.

LVSC Journey: I have volunteered for LVSC for over a decade.  I have been a tutor, a conversation group leader, a Board member, and Board president 2018 - 2023.

LVSC Inspirations: I am so grateful to the many people who have helped LVSC to be such a vibrant organization at the service of our community.

Day Job:  I worked at Johnson & Johnson, where I was an Information Technology Executive. When I retired in 2017, I decided to follow my life-long dream to teach young professionals who want to pursue a career in business.

Favorite Book:  I am an avid reader of history. My favorite book is Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett.  

Pastimes: In my spare time, I enjoy the beach, fishing, and boating. I also enjoy traveling and the culture of different countries. I believe that history and culture combine to teach life lessons that shape one’s character. It is one of the reasons that has drawn me to LVSC, where our students and their culture are so enriching.
