Golf Fore Literacy 2020

Sunny skies, good friends, face masks, and a great day of golf.
April is Volunteer Appreciation Month - we appreciate our volunteers this month and ALL YEAR long! Thank you!!
LVSC events are an important part of our literacy community. They’re not just fundraisers, they’re a way for our tutors, students and supporters to share experiences. From our signature Garden of Literacy brunch to the Golf Fore Literacy outing, there’s something for everyone.
Sunny skies, good friends, face masks, and a great day of golf.
We were lucky to hold our Community Spelling Bee just before the reality of COVID-19 set in. It was a T-E-R-R-I-F-I-C afternoon.
Once again the Bridgewater library was transformed, this time to include a seasonal supper, wine bar, and improv comedy.
The annual Garden of Literacy Brunch & Silent Auction is LVSC's signature event featuring a deluxe brunch buffet, complimentary mimosas, and fabulous gift baskets.
Trained tutors develop customized lessons to help students with their everyday needs.
Tutoring is offered at a time and place convenient to the student. Flexibility and useful lessons lead to success.
Who would guess that the graceful, poised speaker at LVSC's Golf Fore Literacy event was a self-proclaimed introvert who felt like a "giant baby" when she arrived in the United States?
